In My Professional Era: 2015–Present
Art Director, Arc Worldwide
Developed concepts and collaborated with teams of designers and copywriters to create innovative advertising tactics across channels. Directed photo shoots; culled, color-corrected and manipulated photos.
Art Director, Catapult Marketing
Designed digital, print, static, animated, in-store, and out-of-home tactics for 25+ international brands across 10+ national retailers. Led brainstorms, participated in pitches, coached junior colleagues, shared learnings and tips/tricks with peers. Presented work directly to clients, used rationale to justify decisions, tactfully responded to critique and feedback.
In My Freelance Era: 2012–2015
Presentation Designer, Target
Established creative vision and designed presentations for C-suite executives at international shows; audiences of 10,000 or more. Coordinated development of visual assets, including charts, graphics, photography, and tasteful animations to support key messages. Upheld brand standards to maintain iconic Target look-and-feel while telling a visually interesting story.
Graphic Designer, Independent
Founded an Etsy storefront to offer bespoke, on-trend, customized-to-order wedding stationery. Developed Squarespace-powered websites for small businesses, including custom content, forms, and newsletters. Met with clients to discuss creative vision, personalization, and ensure satisfaction with final product.
In My Student Era: pre-2012
Genius, Apple
Diagnosed and repaired both hardware and software issues with up to 20 customers daily. Performed one-on-one personal training with customers; tutored various creative and office applications. Managed daily schedule for Genius Bar reservations and paired customers with appropriate technicians.
Studio Photographer, Lifetouch Studios
Photographed up to 20 clients daily in studio setting; clients ranged from infants to adults to large groups. Coordinated poses, props, lighting, and background choices with clients. Edited and modified photographs to client specifications; assisted with ordering prints.
